What do you get when you take a patch of land that has been neglected for decades?
Turn it into an oppourtunity to show God’s love to a community in need by growing healthy foods for the school!
Bill Sontag, working with folks from the Trinity Lutheran Church, Trinity Lutheran School, the Belvedere neighborhoods, and Tri-Neighborhood Community Garden, is overseeing this new ministry.
As it grows it will create an oppourtunity for us all to work together while having fun in the garden. Students at Trinity Lutheran School will be learning about how vegetables grow and have an opportunity to eat some of the stuff they grow. The rest of the food will be given to the Southeastern Virginia Foodbank to help those in need.
If you’re interested to help, and anyone can, please contact the church office at tlc@trinitylutherannorfolk.org.
